I will be talking about how we can use some simple tools to streamline and standardise the tasks so that system admins and the like and use their time more productively and more enjoyable whilst not having to worry about human-error mistakes being made (as much)

When PLUG started holding hybrid in-person/online meetings using Big Blue Button, we wanted a way to publish professional looking videos from the slides, camera footage and audio. Rather than editing everything together manually, I built some scripts to automate the process using GStreamer Editing Services: a library for non-destructive video editing.

It has a unique non-profit business model where you are paid a special currency, BON, in exchange for your seeding efforts. We have 3,000 items on the site and are working hard on reaching 200,000 soon.
