  • EventStreamr – What is it, why does it exist and how can I help? This talk will touch briefly on the History of Plug AV, conference experiences and what problems the EventStreamr software attempts to solve.

June 2015

  • Crypto Party in conjunction with Port80 run by Luke John.

    There will be a few lighting talks and some discussion around things like:

    • Key Signing
    • Full Disk Encryption
    • Metadata / Mandatory Data Retention
    • Hardware Security
    • Tor

    Followed by breakout sessions where you can do some practical crypto. If you want to get your PGP keys signed bring along some ID or if you don’t use PGP but want to know how, bring along a laptop and we can get you set up.

July 2015

  • We will have a couple of short presentations form PLUG members that have done amazing things with their Pi’s followed by an informal breakout session where you can work on your latest project or discuss ideas.

August 2015

  • The policy was announced at GovHack and it’s a Western Australian Whole of Government Policy. Open Data within government is a hot topic and it’s great to see a clear direction from within State Government around releasing data in free and accessible formats.
